Well Joe Biden’s “handlers” have picked his Vice Presidential running mate, Kamala Harris. If Biden is elected she most likely will be the next President sometime in the next couple of years as it’s pretty clear that Biden will be 78 when sworn in and at the least is suffering from “age related cognitive decline”. You’ll see plenty of articles in the near future about Kamala’s “accurate” attacks on Joe during the Democrat debates so I’ll spare you that here. As with all things politics “the end justifies the means” and just like the lawyer she is it will be fine to “head out to happy hour” with Biden after a day of demeaning him in court. That’s just the way you climb the ladder folks! And the swamp just got a much needed replenishment.
So here’s who Kamala Harris is in a nutshell:
She was born in Oakland, California, to two immigrant parents: an Indian-born mother and Jamaican-born father. She grew up engaged with her Indian heritage, joining her mother on visits to India, but Ms Harris has said that her mother adopted Oakland’s black culture, immersing her two daughters – Kamala and her younger sister Maya – within it.
She attended college in the US, spending four years at Howard University, one of the nation’s preeminent historically black colleges and universities. After four years at Howard, Ms. Harris went on to earn her law degree at the University of California, Hastings and began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
She became the district attorney – the top prosecutor – for San Francisco in 2003 before being elected the first woman and the first black person to serve as California’s attorney general, the top lawyer and law enforcement official in America’s most populous state.
In 2017 she was elected to the U.S. Senate representing California.
In 2020 she announced her run for the Presidency in a very large Democratic field that included Joe Biden. In the Dem debates she often showed off her “prosecutorial skills” often attacking her NOW new boss, Biden.
Despite leftward leanings on issues like gay marriage and the death penalty, she faced repeated attacks from progressives for not being progressive enough on issues such as police reform, drug reform and wrongful convictions. “Kamala is a cop” became a common refrain on the campaign trail, spoiling her attempts to win over the more liberal Democratic base during the primaries.
Here are a few her political stands:
She SUPPORTS Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s $93 trillion Green New Deal , a proposal described as a “Wishlist to fix what they perceive as all that ails society”
Harris backed Biden in 2015 when he was tapped by President Obama to ” spearhead ” the lobbying effort on the Iran Nuclear Deal, saying it was “our best option.”
In 2017 she backed the $600 billion “College for All” proposal
Both Harris and Biden have vowed to RAISE income taxes by an average of $1,400.
As San Francisco District Attorney, Harris inflated the office’s conviction rate by offering plea deals to defendants accused of serious crimes and , San Francisco’s homicide rates rose . Several of the “plea deal” defendents went on to murder others after their release.
She compared ICE to the KKK. “During a Capitol Hill hearing, Harris asked Ronald Vitiello, President Trump’s then-nominee to lead ICE, if he was “aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws and do you see any parallels [with the KKK]?”
What does she think of Biden?
In 2019, Harris brushed aside the VP chatter joking that it should be “The Other Way Around” Apparently behind the scenes she felt that “it was demeaning to a woman of color and perpetuates an unfair critique that she’s somehow not prepared for the job she’s actually seeking.”
How can we forget THIS during the debates?
And here’s a VERY INTERESTING fact: In 2011 and 2013, Trump donated twice to Harris for a total of $6,000. Ivanka Trump, a senior adviser to her father, also gave Harris $2,000 just six years ago. Hmmmmm….was that the RACIST Trump??
So there’s a taste of who will be your “eventual” PRESIDENT if Biden wins in November. Read all you can about her not just from your “favorite” MSM. Inform YOURSELF and don’t believe everything you read. Do your OWN homework. This should be interesting.
