I haven’t written a post in over a month and I woke up this morning with this song playing in my head from 51 years ago! It could have been written today. These are some of the lyrics I was remembering:

So I’ve been sitting back watching the World literally “unfold” further over the last month or so. It seemed for a while that the Covid hysteria had begun to fade. NOT. Along comes Omicron (which also spells MORONIC) and the government and media lose their collective minds while inwardly celebrating the latest Panic Button. I’m not going to go into great detail about Omicron. It’s doing what viruses do…….and that’s mutate like they always have for millions of years.
What the media doesn’t tell you though is that it’s often A GOOD THING since the virus often becomes less lethal. YES…..it IS the virus’s way of continuing to be able to reproduce and infect more people. But when that happens we LEAVE the land of PANDEMIC and enter the land of ENDEMIC (an area where a disease is normally found). Kind of like the flu and common cold…..which ALSO happens to be a “coronavirus”. Are people still dying?….yes they are and some incidence and mortality numbers are worrisome in some states like Maine and New Hampshire. Bottom line for me on vaccines? Vaccinated people aren’t dying very often. They’re getting sick as hell with variants….I’m pretty sure I had Delta despite being vaccinated……but not dying. You make your own choice about it. Roll the dice with the vaccine or roll the dice with Covid because at some point you WILL SURELY will get it. If you do, run for monoclonal antibodies whether vaccinated or not! On to the next problem.
Ukraine, a country in Eastern Europe. It is the second-largest country by area in Europe after Russia, which it borders to the east and north-east. And THAT’s the problem that you’re only hearing a little about in the “news”. I predicted about 6 months ago that Biden would be seen to be a weak puppet that Russia’s Putin and China’s Xi would test very quickly and surely they are. Vladamir has done this before and most certainly will again, especially against Slo-Joe. He invaded the Republic of Georgia in 2008 by having Russian troops motor up the main highway towards the capital of Tbilisi. President George W. Bush responded by sending U.S. Navy ships to the area and Air Force C-130s to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged Georgian capital. He sent the message that if Russian forces marched on Tbilisi and tried to overthrow the democratically-elected government, they risked running into the U.S. military. Within days, Putin signed a cease fire and began withdrawing Russian forces. Why? Because Putin understands strength. He certainly follows Vladamir Lennin’s saying “You probe with bayonets: if you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw.” This month Putin has been amassing troops along the border of Ukraine……..”probing with bayonets”. How has Slo-Joe responded? He’s suggesting a meeting with Putin to see “whether or not we can work out any accommodation.” MUSH. Trust me….NATO allies are astounded at his weakness. This will not end well. The last time Putin tried this was during Obama’s administration when the U.S. failed to enforce the “line in the sand” with Syria about chemical weapons. Putin saw Obama’s weakness and proceeded to annex (take over) Crimea to the south of Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, “I believe that after the pullout from Afghanistan, the situation in NATO is tense, it’s difficult and Russia is taking advantage of the situation.” It won’t end well….with Joe in charge and believe me China’s President Xi isn’t missing ANY of this.
How about the VERY little reported “bomb” that went off recently at Iran’s nuclear enrichment site near Natanz? Didn’t hear much about THAT did you? Well there was an explosion of some sort a week ago. Iran said it was an “air defense test”…..so as not to be embarassed. But I came across this article in The Times of Israel where the Israeli Defense Minister Alon Schuster is interviewed. He refrained from directly answering questions about the blast near the nuclear site only saying he “can’t say” what hit Natanz. Well OF COURSE he can’t!! He went on to say ” “We don’t ask a man what he did at night, but we are currently trying to bring about a change in the motivations of the whole world through diplomatic means. Iran is a problem for the whole world, and not just the State of Israel alone. We have a duty to be brave and responsible for the fate of our children and grandchildren. We have used force against our enemies in the past and we are convinced that in extreme situations, there is a need to act using military means.” Israel has reportedly approved a budget of some $1.5 billion to be used to prepare the military for a potential strike against Iran’s nuclear program. HOO BOY! Gotta say that Israel has “a set”. THIS while Slo-Joe wants to re-join the Iran 2015 Nuclear Accord that Trump left after it was clear that Iran was violating the “deal”. That’s enough doom and gloom for this Saturday morning. But honestly, we may very well be on the brink of World War III !! …..or perhaps “End of Times”……pick your poison.
