UPDATE: Will Covid Be Here FOREVER?

Florida has gone from having around 10,000 case/week to having 110,000 this week. Testing positivity rate has gone from 3.4% to 18.1%. The Center for Disease Confusion tells us that most of the new cases are the “Delta variant” which is a mutation of the original virus. So what’s it mean for those who are vaccinated, those who’ve had Covid and those who never have? Not so easy a question to answer. Certainly no help from the “CDC” that now wants everyone to put the damn masks back on.

I’m going to give you my insight as a physician of more than 35 years. I don’t have specific research or studies to back up some of what I tell you…….just like all the other “Frontline Doctors”, Bitchute videos, naturopaths, finanacial planners and other anti-social media “experts”….LOL BUT unlike them I’m telling you that a lot of what I’m going to say is simply my opinion. So here we go.

First let’s talk about the vaccine or whatever you choose to call it. It’s distribution has kind of stalled due to somewhat reasonable concerns about safety and side effects. This week vaccination rates did pick back up a bit due to the increasing infection rate and fear. The world has received more than 4 BILLION shots so far, mostly in developed countries with poor countries lagging far behind. 345 MILLION given in the U.S. At the current pace of 39.7 million a day throughout the world, it could take another year to achieve a high level of global immunity. Remember “herd immunity”? That’s when about 75% of the population has either HAD the disease or gotten vaccinated. You would THINK we should be getting pretty close……and it APPEARED that we HAD gotten to that point in many places where masks were gone, hospitals were empty and mortality rates had disappeared.

So WHAT HAPPENED? Along came “Delta” and “Lambda” and “breakthrough” infections and suddenly hearing about a lot of people having “bad colds”, “upper respiratory infections”, “a cough that just won’t go away”, etc. Well add me to that group! Myself and more than a few of my friends…….all who’ve been vaccinated……have had those symptoms over the last month! I felt like I was run over by a truck 4 weeks ago and STILL have a nagging dry cough. I went and got a PCR test done and it was negative. I called BioReference Labs, the ones who DO the testing and asked if the Delta variant is being picked up….in short they told me “it should be picking it up”…….SHOULD??? We are truly in sorry shape a year and a half into this! I’m 99% SURE my friends and I had the Delta variant! There simply is no coincidence in the facts. Yesterday it was reported that over 100 VACCINATED people from a group tested positive for Covid out on Cape Cod from the July 4th weekend! Coincidence? NOPE….I think they just have fine tuned the PCR testing and now you’re seeing all the vaccinated people WHO ARE STILL GETTING COVID!!

On a positive note……it does seem that the vaccine keeps people from needing to be hospitalized. Or at least the morons at CDC have told us that. I’m naturally a skeptic though……and MAYBE people aren’t running to the hospital because they’ve been TOLD “breakthrough cases in vaccinated people are EXTREMELY rare” and they believe it, don’t panic, and simply ride out what having Covid really is like for MOST people. On the brighter side, at least it appears that getting the vaccine doesn’t “hijack” your immune system forever.

So will Covid be here forever. YUP. It isn’t going anywhere. There is widespread consensus among scientists and public health experts that the herd immunity threshold is NOT ATTAINABLE — at least not in the foreseeable future, and perhaps NOT EVER! They go on to say ” Covid will most likely become a manageable threat that will continue to circulate in the United States for years to come, still causing hospitalizations and deaths but in much smaller numbers”. OH JOY! In conclusion they tell us “the virus is changing too quickly, new variants are spreading too easily and vaccination is proceeding too slowly for herd immunity to be within reach anytime soon.”

So fasten your seatbelts folks! The politicization of Covid will be continuing, the BS from the CDC, the utter nonsense from politicians who’ve never held a real job, the mixed messages from virtually EVERY expert are all going to continue….the new norm. Should you get the vaccine?…………I HONESTLY don’t know. If you are in a higher risk group you may decide to. If you’re under 50, a college student, a young female of child bearing age….I’d skip it.
