“I’ve Had Enough of You”….An Open Letter to Donald Trump.

Dear Donald, I’ve had enough of you. A lot of people said I shouldn’t write this but enough is enough. For awhile there it seemed like you had “toned” things down but maybe that was just because you were banned from Twitter. Your comment on MY governor was the last straw. Was it REALLY necessary a few days before perhaps the most important mid-term election in 50 years for you to blurt out your “Ron DeSanctimonious” label you’ve decided to pin on America’s greatest Governor of all time? Or as I suspect you simply can’t STAND anyone else being in the limelight?

So here we are…..Aside from Florida and Ohio, the Republican party is still LIMPING across the finish line in what could better be called a “Red Trickle”. This election SHOULD have been a slam dunk for gaining control of both Congress AND the Senate. But you know what happened? The Democrats AGAIN got out the vote and proved that they will NEVER change parties if there’s even the most REMOTE chance that you may be re-elected! Whether you want to argue over losing in the 2020 election by 60,70, or 80 million votes does it really still matter? Because you STILL represent something they will NEVER support.

Don’t get me wrong. YES you did AMAZING things for America. You restored our borders, made us energy independent, gave us a great economy DESPITE Covid, spurred on the development of vaccines, gave us hope and YES ….you were making America great again. BUT then you simply could never just TONE IT DOWN. Many of us lamented that you would have had the greatest Presidency of all time if you could have just SHUT UP.

I blame YOU for the mess we’re in right now. I believe that you COULD have been elected in 2020 and spared us this disastrous 4 years of the WORST President of all time. A demented old man that we’re “propping up” like Weekend At Bernie’s because Kamala Harris would be EVEN WORSE! And we get to deal with the relics like Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, Feinstein and that cretin Adam Schiff. We have open borders with over 4 million illegals that have poured across including 98 that were on terrorist watch lists. We have the worst inflation in 50 years! We have the highest energy and gas prices of all time. We have Biden negotiating with Iraq and Saudi Arabia and GIVING Afghanistan back to the Taliban. I’m SURE ISIS isn’t far behind. Putin was so sure that Biden was weak that we have a “proxy” war we’re waging with Russia in Ukraine. China and North Korea are sitting back biding their time. You LOST the election Donald.

So now all we hear about is your “big announcement”. Like we should be THRILLED. If I thought you were able to come back and continue where you left off that would be great. But you seem incapable of being a team player UNLESS IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU. You don’t look smart, or confident, or like a leader when you have to knock down the 2nd most influential Republican in America. You look weak and petty and I’ve had ENOUGH.

You have your supporters that will follow you to the end of time. Sycophants that are willing to ignore everything you do and say. I’ll probably get plenty of flack from that crowd for this post but that’s fine. SOMEONE needs to tell you.

It’s not too late, but the clock is ticking. There are rumblings by those like myself that are ready for someone who ALSO wants to Make America Great Again but in a constructive fashion that is INCLUSIONARY and not alienating that huge portion of independent voters and perhaps even a large number of Democrats. Think about it before your “big announcement”. After these mid-terms it’s pretty clear that IF you were to get elected there will be just as many haters as there ever were.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Give it some thought before you call anyone else any names. This isn’t high school and America deserves more respect.
